I wrote this while ago, and it seems appropriate to share again now more than ever ✨🤍
When it comes to seeking the all important truth, especially in times of uncertainty; are you Passive or Proactive?
That gut feeling is nagging away, intuition is 'raising an eyebrow' - stories don't seem to stack up, and decisions don't make sense.....
What do you do?
Interestingly, it is proven time and time again that invariably in such cases; the truth is never on the surface, there in broad daylight, plain for all to see.
No matter what the circumstance, or who it involves; there is an undercurrent of reality, battling to emerge from the persistent picture being painted.
It is usually pushed down and deflected repeatedly by two groups.
Group A) those who do not want to consider, or cannot comprehend the possible 'uglier version' waiting to transpire; and therefore choose to continue in a state of ignorance or denial.
Group B) those who have a vested interest in the 'uglier version' not being visible, or heard. Typically these characters will be linked to gains of power, control and finances.
We are at our most naive when we have been encouraged to be worried and scared.
So, taking something at face value is easy when our minds are consequently trained to only receive information we are eagerly being given, or willingly supplied with.
The repercussions being, that the passive among us then decide to focus only on what they readily accept to be a current threat.
They become blind to anything on the periphery..... and I think we all know the regretful pitfalls that this creates.
Proactive others however will choose to do their own exploring and research from a different source.
They consider independent facts; those from impartial origins, and then form conclusions based on that evidence.
Those same people, undoubtedly find it daunting and scary when they take the time to do this; but they opt for a prepared form of protection.
They prefer to be equipped with a full suit of armour for the long term; not a pair of inadequate running shoes for the immediate.
They seize the opportunities and basic rights that everyone has in front of them. They decide to put it to good use by influencing the creation of a positive outcome.
Do you take the time to step aside and analyse?
Have you genuinely and honestly become autonomous in how you choose to decide what you think, understand and believe as being true?
If not, have you asked yourself why?
It can bode well to have an awareness of how you currently manage your approach.
Maybe you could reflect whether it has the best interests for yourself and for your future at heart.
Remember change is always possible ....
